On 4th June 2022 the Open Seas research crew aboard the MV Sea Beaver left Wick harbour for the Orkney Islands.
Orkney was to be our home for a few days – the next phase of our five-month mission around the Scottish coastline – and we were excited to be liaising with members of the local community in places like Papay to lend a hand to their work to protect the waters surrounding their home.
